An odd car from the Sala production. This pickup was delivered with a stakebed that had metalsides and shallow fenders that looked a bit like the ones mounted on a regular PV. The black & white pictures show the car as it appered in the 70:s. The black triangle visible under the back window is a mark for the cover support. The same type of support can be seen on a PV 445 D Valbo pickup at this site. First owner of the Sala pickup was the gardener at Stångåstaden AB, a housing company in Linköping, Sweden. Christian found the original back hatch at a previous owner and fenders at a market. A big thanks to Christian for sharing history and pictures!
